Who teaches my hands to war, so that the arm can flex the bow of copper. (Psalm 18:35)
A year Bible reading:
Numbers 28-29
Welcome Problem - My wife and experienced a "shock" when our first daughter entered the age of 12 months and started frequently ill. Indeed, the pain is not severe, just a cough, runny nose, fever. Still, we were worried about it. It's known, previously he was never sick, so we had no idea what to do. Grateful because in those days we get good input from a physician. He said that children at the age of one year is rare because of immunization given pain full. But, after that the child was expected "to be" sick in order to learn form his own antibodies. That way, when the same germs attack, he was able to fight with own antibodies.
In life, there are times it seems God protect us in such a way that none of the problems that can strike. However, there are times when he kind of let us be at the mercy of the enemy, the problems come repeatedly. Not because he does not love, but because he wanted to form a "antibody" us, so we will not be personally whiny. If only our lives completely seamless and completely comfortable without problems, we may even be unfit.
By allowing us to experience problems, he was practicing hand we fight so that we become a person skilled defeating enemies. If we understand this, when trouble comes we will rejoice because it means one more opportunity to train ourselves to be personally more resilient. -dP
Can we look at the matter as an opportunity to grow?
