At the age climbed to the top, ie 39 years, Franklin Delano Roosevelt (FDR) stricken with polio. People thought his political career would be finished as paralysis that undermine it. Apparently not! FDR persistent struggle against the disease. Positive thinking. Excited. Diligently practicing swimming in sulfur water therapy. Optimistic. Work hard. Abstinence self-pity. Not wanting to rely on a wheelchair. His wife states, polio was indeed a disaster, but at the same time a turning point for him to be personally resilient, determined, and courageous. Armed with that, he led the American face of tremendous economic crisis and World War II as president.

Christians in the first century threatened with humiliation, persecution, and murder that lurk all the time. They diaspora. However, they are impossible to avoid continued. James teaches people to deal diaspora. Not with fear and complaining, but thought "it all joy" (v. 2). With joy and gratitude. As a blessing and not a curse. As a challenge to fight, with confidence: a test of faith produced perseverance, toughness and maturity (vv. 3-4).

Have the right perspective! Everything happens not without reason. The problem is the test that God allowed us to hone and forge. Sometimes remind us. One thing is certain: who persevere, be patient, and encouraged to deal with it will reap the benefits of a fruit called maturity jiwa.-PAD
