Wages won Exams Through Faith

"My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, for you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. And let patience have her ripe fruit, that ye may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. "James 1: 2-4

Live life as a follower of Christ is not a smooth road without obstacles. Each His people will definitely experience a state where their faith will be tested.

Through the testing of our faith this is going to bring us to the perfection of faith, so that we will be more like Jesus in every step of our lives.

Not infrequently part of God's people can not wait to face this test. They feel hopeless and do not want to stay true to his faith.

Yet God would not exceed the temptation of power that we have. Every temptation that there is certainly no solution. And when we want to keep hope in Jesus, there is no way out.

In the Bible there are several characters who experience the trials that test their faith. Let's see why they can be resilient and accept the victory of God.

1. Abraham

God gives a child of promise to Abraham, Isaac, through his wife Sara whose womb had been closed because of advanced age. Surely this child is the pride and hope for Abraham to be able to achieve the promise of God that will make him a father of many nations. Abraham received the promise of God that will make his seed as the dust of the earth.

But God would ask Abraham to sacrifice his son and make it as a burnt offering. As humans, it is a very heavy blow because Isaac is her hope to be able to achieve the promises of God. How could he be able to have offspring that much if the child is the child of promise to be sacrificed?

Here, Abraham showed his faith in God's faithfulness. And by faith he did what he was told to him.

Just at the time when he would thrust the knife, God stopped him. God saw that Abraham did not hesitate to follow the commands of God. Then GOD provides a ram as a substitute sacrifice for sacrifice.

Abrahampun blessed abundantly and God fulfilled His Word by making descendants be as numerous as the number of dust. And we can recognize Abraham as the father of the faithful.

2. Joseph

Joseph had a dream that all of his brothers and his parents come to worship him. Instead of seeing that dream become a reality, but instead Joseph was hated by his brothers. Even those intending to kill him. They placed Joseph in a dry well and not long after that they sold it to the Midianites were then sold to Potiphar.

In such circumstances, Joseph still do what the job. The Lord was with Joseph and made everything he did successful.

As if it never stops, Joseph re-experience trials. He was seduced by Potiphar's wife. But Joseph still did not want to be tempted and actually get slander. He was jailed for allegedly flirting Potiphar's wife.

Again the Lord remained with Joseph in prison and makes him the favorite for the warden. Events experienced by Joseph to the story where he had the opportunity to explain the meaning of Pharaoh's dreams.

Joseph got the favor in the hearts of Pharaoh and then Pharaoh appointed him ruler of Egypt.

Here we can see that in all events experienced by Joseph, not even Joseph left the Lord. Therefore the Lord was with Joseph, and all he did become successful.

Not only that, in times of famine, his brothers-had come to Egypt to buy food. And in the end we all know that dreams are never acquired more than 20 years before becoming a reality. Faith has brought Joseph to get what dreamed ..

There are many stories in the Bible that show us that God wants His people to remain faithful in the faith no matter what happens.

What we experience in this life is not easy. It may be difficult for us to understand what the Lord had planned for us. Perhaps there are things that must be sacrificed like Abraham who had to sacrifice his son. Perhaps there are things that we have to suffer like Joseph who was betrayed by her siblings, vilified and put into jail and many more. But one thing that God wants to keep us do, that keep pace with the faith.

Never remove our faith in Jesus. Never surrender to state that we experience. Still live step by step in our lives while keeping our faith in Jesus. God has provided something big for us. And He will most certainly fulfill every Word that He has promised us. Hallelujah!
