Reaching for Success With Jesus

"He did what was right in the eyes of the Lord, just as did his father Amaziah. He sought God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding in the fear of God. And as long as he sought the LORD, God made him to prosper. "2 Chronicles 26: 4-5

Uzziah was made king of Judah at the age of sixteen. And he reigned for fifty-two years in Jerusalem. God was with him and made him to be successful.

Fifty-two years is not a short time. At that time, not many people who could be king and reigned for a long time. But Uzziah do so since he was young.

Many people who feel that they do not quite experience in performing the tasks assigned to them. They find it did not have sufficient expertise, knowledge, skills, wisdom in making decisions and many more reasons.

Not a few who refuse new tasks given to them, because they feel confident in carrying greater responsibility.

Uzziah accept a great responsibility at a young age. But he did not fear and trembling in receiving and running the new job. And we can see that he managed to reign in a long time.

What are the keys to success for becoming king Uzziah?
1. Do what is right in God's eyes

"He did what was right in the eyes of the Lord" 2 Chronicles 26: 4a

Uzziah just need to do the right thing in God's eyes. He does not see age as a deficiency. But he still focus on doing what must be done, that is the truth. Thus, God accompanies every step of his life. The enemies can be defeated easily, even they flinch against Uzziah.

"Do not forget this law scroll, meditate on it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written therein: for thus be prosperous and you will be lucky." Joshua 1: 8

Meditate on God's Word every day, then we will know what is right and pleasing to God and what is displeasing to Him. Do what is pleasing to God, then He will accompany every step of our lives.

He will give us wisdom, so that we can take the right decisions at critical moments. He will give us courage, so that we can move with the faith to succeed. And He will give us good luck, so we can always succeed in what we do.


2. Finding God

"He sought God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding in the fear of God." 2 Chronicles 26: 5a

Uzziah always seek God during his reign, and he learned to fear God. God became the focus of her life during her reign. He put the Lord in every step. He understood that the search for God, then he will find the source of all wisdom that ever existed on this earth.

Uzziah get wisdom, wisdom and knowledge he needed to rule as king. Everything that he received by way of seeking God.

"The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction." Proverbs 1: 7

"To know wisdom and instruction, to understand words that are meaningful, to receive the discipline that makes clever, as well as truth, justice and honesty, to provide intelligence to those who are inexperienced, and the knowledge and wisdom to the young-

Let the wise listen and add to their learning, and let the clear-consideration- obtain material for understanding proverbs and the like, sayings and riddles of the wise. "Proverbs 1: 2-6

We may not have sufficient knowledge, experience and skills to do a great responsibility that lies before us. But when we diligently seek the face of God, God will give you the wisdom of all wisdom that allows us to execute and complete the great work.

Nothing is impossible for God, He will work in our lives, so that we will be able to do big jobs. Do not be afraid of what we are facing. Seek the face of God, then He will deliver success for each step of our lives.

Do what is right in God's eyes and seek God while He still may be found. Then we will see a lot of doors were opened for us the way. We will see success for the sake of success in our lives. What seems impossible to man, God will make it possible in our lives. Achieve Success with the Lord. Hallelujah!
